In December last year, I won a competition held by Lumi Nordic Instagram account. The price was a set of Lumi Moisturizing Cleansing Milk and Lumi Deep Hydration Regenerative Treatment. I was so happy to win because I have used their products many times over the last few years and honestly I feel they are one of the best skin care lines for acne-prone skin among other skin conditions.
As mentioned on LUMI website, one of the main ingredients in the entire Lumi line is hemp seed oil. This is why I started to buy Lumi skincare already many years ago. Very few skin care brands use hemp seed oil in their products.
When you have acne-prone skin, you want to be sure that your skin care is not breaking you out and hemp seed oil has a comedogenic rating of zero, meaning that it has zero chance of breaking you out or clogging your pores.

Lumi Deep Hydration Regenerative Treatment
Even though I have a combination of more oily and normal skin but this creme is meant to be for dry skin, I still use it every other day and love it. As I get a lot of sun here in Australia, I feel this creme is perfect for keeping my skin moisturized. One of the main ingredients hemp seed oil acts as UV protection– the sun protection factor (SPF) of hemp seed oil is 6, which is what I need here. This creme also contains Lactic acid, which is marketed as a powerful ingredient that helps reduce acne breakouts and important to keep the right PH-level balance. It is also perfect for aging skin.

Lumi Moisturizing Cleansing Milk
I don’t usually use cleansing milk, but as I won it, I gave it a try. Again, this does not break me out because of the non-comedogenic and natural organic ingredients. I use it to remove my make up and to be honest, sometimes I use it as a light body creme if I’m busy and can’t use my usual coconut oil. I just massage it into my skin (or leave it on my body, when I use it as a creme) and wash it off before I use any tonic and moisturiser. It is so gentle and feels nice to my skin. If you love cleansing milk, then this is absolutely perfect for you.

PS. I love that all of their cremes come in a little pump bottle, so you don’t have to dip your fingers into the creme (which keeps it clean and hygienic) and nothing is going to be left in the bottle once you are finished!
I definitely want to try out their Tundra Range, which is their line for acne-prone skin. I am also starting to seek more of anti-aging benefits in my skincare, as I believe prevention is the key to a healthier and younger skin later.
